Today, VIETMAP is known as a leading company in Vietnam about digital map making as well as GIS services and products providing.
We are looking for a GIS Specialist to join our Map team.
1. RESPONSIBILITIES
- The GIS Specialist are responsible for using geographic information systems (GIS) and C# programming language to collect, analyze, and visualize geographic data.
- Collect a variety of sources and manage data.
- Perform spatial analysis.
- Create maps and other visualizations.
- Develop and maintain GIS databases.
- Design, develop and maintain GIS software applications and web-based applications.
- Work with geospatial data to create and manage maps, data conversion tools, QC tools.
2. REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor‘s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field.
- At least 2 years working with GIS software, such as ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS.
- Experience with spatial analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Have knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python,…
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Growth mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English is an advantage.
