The Hsu Lab at the University of North Florida is seeking a highly motivated M.S. student for a fully funded research position starting Fall 2025. The selected student will have the opportunity to work on one of the following research projects:
- Coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics and water quality modeling
- Storm event analysis and climate change impacts on coastal and estuarine systems
Eligibility & Desired Qualifications
We welcome applications from candidates with a B.S. in Coastal Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills are essential, as demonstrated through academic records, research experience, and/or extracurricular activities. Additional experience in programming (e.g., FORTRAN, MATLAB) and computational fluid dynamics is highly desirable.
