VNAn orientation session on career development for the students of the Oceanology specialty was organized by the Oceanology, Meteorology, and Hydrology department on the 17 November 2022. The session was for exchanging information among professionals, potential recruiters, and students on professional opportunity, knowledges and skills for career development.
There were participations of Dr. Lê Văn Tuấn, Head of the Oceanography Office of the Institute of Coastal and Offshore Engineering, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Hồng, Deputy Director of the Sub-Institute of Hydrometeorology and Climate Change, and Mr. Lê Đình Quyết, Head of the Weather Previsions Office of the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Center.
During the sessions, the students had opportunity for discussing and sharing with the professionals and recruiters on career orientation, working experiences and requirements, career opportunities and potential recruitments at different organizations and research institutes in the Southern region and also in other regions of Vietnam.
