After two weeks of participating in the “Changing Coast” course, the program concluded with numerous learning activities covering fundamental knowledge of: fluid substrates, coastal processes, hydrodynamic processes, sea level rise fluctuations, tracers in the marine environment, QGIS skills, and modeling related to sea level rise. In addition, students were trained in field sampling techniques and survey data processing methods.
On the morning of Friday, November 25, 2023, 30 students from the University of Tasmania (Australia) and the University of Science, VNU-HCM successfully completed the course requirements and received their certificates of completion.
The certificate ceremony was attended by representatives from the Australian Consulate General in Vietnam (Mr. Ciaran Chestnutt) and from the University of Tasmania in Vietnam (Ms. Helen McClure and Ms. Thuy Phan).
