VNAfter the meeting between the representatives of the University of Sciences, VNU-HCM and the delegation from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in the morning of February 11, 2025. At noon, the Department of Oceanography, Meteorology and Hydrology also welcomed Prof. Paul Liu (Head of International Relations Department), Dr. Lewis Owen (Dean of the College of Science, Associate Professor Kathryn Boys (Faculty of Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics) coming from NCSU.
During the meeting, the delegates discussed the activities of the two schools, shared their achievements and discussed in detail the opportunities for future research and education cooperation. During the discussion, the two sides discussed in detail the scholarship funding for PhD students and student exchanges, summer courses, training courses and seminars.
This event not only affirmed the strong commitment of the two schools in improving the quality of education and research, but also opened up many international cooperation opportunities for lecturers and students. The group discussion created the foundation for the establishment of ideas for future joint development plans, contributing to promoting scientific research activities, teaching quality and international cooperation development, while creating prospects for future cooperation.
