A meeting on course evaluations feedback for students of the Oceanology, Hydrology and Meteorology specialties was held on Monday last week, 23/9/2024. General results of course evaluations were presented to give students a statistical view of their results and their evaluations at each course. These results consisted those of the courses for students of 2nd-to-3rd year and of 3rd-to-4th year.
During this occasion, teaching staffs also clarified and shared with students certain difficulties of some specific courses such as the field trip course with a specific time schedule or other interdisciplinary one which needs more active synthesis from students. The students also sent further opinions and suggestions concerning incoming courses, graduation thesis, infrastructure improvements, class conditions, … and received feedback.
This was the first meeting on the course evaluation results for Oceanology students since the program was certificated with ASIIN accreditation. This closed the feedback loop and will be helpful in improving the program in coming school years. Another meeting will be held for 1st-to-2nd-year Oceanology students on this October.
